DOT Hazmat & Transportation Training

For the people who ship, load and drive hazardous materials, and the facilities that receive them.

Overview

DOT requires hazmat employees to be trained before they perform regulated functions and retrained at least every three years. STC's course covers the hazardous materials table, shipping papers, marking, labeling, placarding and security awareness.

For maritime facilities, STC has developed and presented MARSEC training plans for employees, visitors and contractors, and can improve an existing plan.

  • Recurrent on schedule

Refresher training keeps every hazmat employee inside the three-year window.

  • Drug and alcohol programs

Supervisor training here, testing and screening through STC VeriShield.

  • Port facilities

MARSEC plans and training built for the facility.
