Overview

STC supports owners and contractors on industrial, construction, pipeline, energy, environmental and maintenance work. The goal is a safety culture where crews see the value of safe work practices, and an EMR that stays low enough to win bids.

Some clients bring us in for one job, such as a citation or an investigation. Others hand us the whole program, from written plans and prequalification to staffing.

What we do

What the work includes

Engage us for one item or the whole program. Every engagement starts with a conversation about your site.

  1. OSHA citation response

    Correct the cited conditions, prepare for and attend the informal conference with you, and in some cases reduce or remove penalties. Call early: the response window is short.

  2. Accident & incident investigations

    An impartial third-party view of root cause and compliance issues, through interviews, photography and site examination, with a written report under OSHA or MSHA rules.

  3. Job hazard analysis (JSA, JHA, AHA, RA)

    Custom briefing templates, task-specific hazard analyses, confined space emergency action plans and the documents owners and GCs require.

  4. Loss control assessments

    Risk assessment, process improvements and safety plan gaps, then stronger policies, practices and emergency contingencies.

  5. New project planning

    Hazard identification during planning, coordination across owners and contractors, training recommendations and safety supervision.

  6. Contractor prequalification

    ISNetworld, Avetta, PEC and similar: account setup, questionnaires, insurance review, safety programs for RAVS and document management.

  7. Process Safety Management support

    PSM program assistance, Process Hazard Analysis leader training and PSM audits under 29 CFR 1910.119.
